Finding Your SteamID

To determine your SteamID, just join a game an online game of NS (or any other Half-life mod) through Steam (a LAN game won't give the right ID) and open up the console by pressing your "tilde" key (it's the key to the left of "1"). The console will then scroll open, and you can type status, then hit return.

Your SteamID is the second number listed next to your name:

In this example, the SteamID for player "Bry" is "STEAM_0:0:14967".

It's very important to include the "STEAM" and all the numbers here.
